Adam Kornegay serves as a financial advisor at our Knoxville, Tennessee, office. He combines strategic thinking with a personalized approach, helping clients align their financial plans with their values. Adam strives to bring optimism, insight, and creativity to every conversation.

Adam worked with APC Financial Planning, where he was dedicated to helping guide clients and led marketing initiatives, until APC joined Savant in 2025. His career also includes more than a decade as a strategy consultant, helping major financial institutions manage risk and build credit scoring models. He later worked as a financial advisor and co-founded a coaching and consulting firm for financial advisors nationwide.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®), Adam earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a marketing concentration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He also served as president of the Financial Planning Association of East Tennessee. He has published articles in the Journal of Financial Planning and Everything Knoxville.

A native of southern Illinois and lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, Adam enjoys music and percussion, playing at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and collecting unique instruments. He and his wife, Amy, share life in Knoxville with their dog, Wrigley, and love cheering on their two children, Abby and Ben.
