2021 Accounting Today Billion-Dollar Wealth Magnet: This annual ranking published in June 2021 includes the top 150 CPA financial planners that have a wealth management/financial planning practice based on assets under management as of December 31, 2020. 2020 Barron’s Top 100 Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Firms: This annual ranking published in October 2020 weighed numerous factors in the rankings including technology spending, staff diversity, and succession planning. Advisors who wish to be ranked fill out a 102 question survey about their practice. Barron’s verifies the data of the advisory firms and with regulatory databases to apply rankings formula to the data to generate the ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: (1) Assets (2) Revenue (3) Quality of practice as of June 20, 2020. Barron’s completes multiple calculations in each of these categories. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2015 Schwab Best-in-Business IMPACT Award™: The Best-in-Business IMPACT Award™ recognizes an independent investment advisory firm with a track record of growth and excellence, as well as best-in-class technology solutions that have helped it expand market reach, responsiveness, and operational efficiencies. The award was announced in November 2015. Savant Wealth Management and its employees are independent of and are not employees or agents of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (“Schwab”). Schwab does not prepare, verify or endorse information distributed by Savant Capital Management. 2021 Financial Advisor (FA) Magazine RIA Ranking: The 2021 list, published in July 2021, includes more than 600 RIAs from across the nation and is based on a survey of the firms’ discretionary and nondiscretionary assets under management (AUM), as reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with the firm’s ADV filing as of March 31, 2021. Detailed criteria for ranking is not disclosed. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2020 Financial Planning RIA Leaders Top 15 Firms: The criteria for this award only included firms that specifically provide financial planning services to retail clients on a fee-only basis. Firms were required to serve at least 50 percent individual or high-net-worth clients, and could not take commissions or retain broker-dealer affiliations. Rankings are based on the number of investment adviser representatives listed on SEC Form ADV as of May 1, 2020. RIA in a Box gathered the data from the SEC’s public database. The ranking was published in October 2020. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2021 Forbes’ Best-In State Wealth Advisors: The Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list published in February 2021 includes more than 5,000 advisors who have been ranked in their respective states by SHOOK Research. To be considered, advisors must have a minimum of seven years of experience; other factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and their approach to working with clients were also considered. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK received a fee in exchange for rankings.
2018 InvestmentNews Best Places to Work Financial Advisors: The list published in March 2018 was the inaugural list created by Best Companies Group through online employee and employer surveys of participating firms. The collected information was combined to determine the strengths of each of the firms that voluntarily participated in the program, and each workplace was ranked according to this data. Savant was ranked 11th out of employers with 50+ employees. Savant did purchase six framed awards and a one year logo license for $3,500 for “Best Places to Work”.
2020 InvestmentNews Top 50 Firms in the Nation: The list published in August 2020 is based on total AUM as of December 31, 2019. To qualify for the list, firms must provide financial planning services, have at least $100 million in AUM, provided investment advisory services to clients during the most recent fiscal year, not be actively engaged in business as a broker-dealer, and not receive commissions, among other criteria. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2020 RIA Channel® Top 100 Wealth Managers: RIA Database uses quantitative and qualitative criteria to create the rankings. Published in October 2020, RIA Channel ranked the Top 100 RIA firms of 2020 based on a proprietary set of criteria and data. The ranking is based on both size and growth in assets as of June 30, 2020, as reported to the SEC. RIA Database (RIADatabase.com) was used for regulatory data, organic research, and advisor surveys.
