Ahmed is Savant’s Chief Financial Officer and works in our Chicago Loop office. He has a membership interest in Savant.

Ahmed is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served in C-suite roles at private equity-backed firms such as Cetera Financial Group, Osaic (formerly Advisor Group), and Signature Estate & Investment Advisors. His experience includes overseeing financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, regulatory reporting, compensation, and corporate real estate. Ahmed also contributed to his firms’ exponential growth, profitability and margin expansion through strategic executions of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), expense management, and cultural alignment around organic growth.

Ahmed earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland and a master of business administration (MBA) degree in finance from Marymount University.

Ahmed has two children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching sports, golfing, and spending time with family.
