Andreas Shick serves as a financial advisor in our Grand Blanc, Michigan, office. Andreas is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional who provides financial advice to individuals, business owners, and entrepreneurs, although he focuses most on tax planning. He is a Tax Planning Certified Professional® (TPCP®) and an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed by the Department of the Treasury to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Around the office, he is often referred to as “the tax guy.”
His interest in finance started early. Growing up in a family of six, he watched his parents work hard to stretch every dollar, an experience that shaped his desire to understand money and use it wisely. In 2008, his father lost his job in the automotive industry, and although Andreas was young, he remembers the uncertainty at home and the resolve it inspired in him to one day help others feel more financially confident.
During his early career, he explored investing on his own, including an eye-opening chapter with Bitcoin that taught him both the excitement and the risks of speculative investing. That experience pushed him to study traditional investing approaches and eventually opened the door to a career in financial planning and tax planning. He worked as an investment advisor with Grand Capital Advisors until it joined Savant in 2026.
Andreas earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with a minor in bioengineering from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
Born in Germany and the oldest of four siblings, Andreas enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and pickleball, traveling, gaming, reading, and riding jet skis.
