Barry is a regional director of Savant Tax & Consulting in our Cedar Rapids, IA office. He has a membership interest in Savant.

Barry is an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed by the Department of Treasury to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

Barry has been involved in the financial services industry since 1998. He worked for Terry Lockridge & Dunn from 2001 until it joined with Savant in 2022. Prior to joining Terry Lockridge & Dunn, Barry was an accountant for Lueken & Associates. Before that, he was a controller for the Human Resources Center.

Barry serves on the City of Marion Investment Oversight Committee. He completed the 2013 Leadership in Action class sponsored by the Marion Chamber of Commerce, a professional development and engagement series to create a bench of strong community leaders.

Barry earned a bachelor of arts degree in finance and management from Wartburg College.

Barry and his wife Chris have three children – Zach, who attends the University of Texas-San Antonio; Alex, who lives in N. Liberty, IA and is a tax associate for Savant Tax & Consulting; and Jaycee, who attends the University of Iowa. Barry enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
