Chief Investment and Advice Officer / Member Owner
Zach Ivey is Savant’s chief investment and advice officer, leading the integration and delivery of the firm’s full advice platform. He oversees investments, financial planning, tax strategy, wealth transfer, and risk management, working to help ensure advisors have a coordinated team of specialists behind them and that clients experience seamless, comprehensive wealth management.
With more than 25 years in financial services, Zach focuses on building a disciplined advice experience that helps clients make clear decisions across every dimension of their financial lives. He drives consistency in the delivery of advice, oversees Savant’s specialist teams, and helps shape the technology strategy that determines how advice reaches clients at scale.
Before assuming his current role, Zach served as Savant’s chief investment officer, directing investment research, portfolio construction, and asset allocation. Prior to joining Savant, he was a partner and chief investment strategist at Bridgeworth, which joined with Savant in 2023. Earlier in his career, he led financial planning teams at a national planning firm, supporting advisors across the Southeast and translating capital markets research into practical planning strategies.
Zach earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Alabama and the Financial Planning Association.
Committed to leadership and service, Zach serves as board chairman for Young Business Leaders, supports Big Oak Ranch as a resource parent, and serves as an elder at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Married to his high school sweetheart, he and his wife have three children.
