Dennis leads Savant Wealth Partners, the firm’s turnkey asset management program (TAMP), and Retirement Plan Services. He works in our Atlanta, GA office and has a membership interest in Savant.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Dennis is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Dennis has been helping clients navigate financial complexities since 1992. Before joining Savant, he served as CEO of Capital Directions until it joined with Savant in 2023. His career also includes roles as a senior institutional consultant with TIAA and a staff accountant with KPMG.
Recognized for his expertise and leadership, he was named one of AdvisorHub’s 2024 Advisors to Watch, earning the #4 spot among the top 200 Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firms in the country1.
Committed to continuous learning and leadership, Dennis is an active participant in Vistage, a CEO coaching and peer advisory organization, and serves as treasurer on the Appalachian State University Foundation Board.
Dennis earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Appalachian State University.
Outside of work, Dennis is an active member of Alpharetta (GA) Methodist Church and a supporter of North Fulton Community Charities’ Circle of Hope. He and his wife Katherine have two children and enjoy golf, snow skiing, and supporting the App State Mountaineers and Clemson Tigers.
