Eamon Verdone serves as director of mergers and acquisitions, focuses on partnering with founder-led registered investment advisors, and works out of our Rockford and Lincolnshire, Illinois, offices. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA®), he plays a central role in advancing Savant’s inorganic growth strategy.
Eamon identifies and evaluates prospective partner firms and guides leaders through the full deal lifecycle, from early conversations through close. His work centers on helping founders navigate succession and growth decisions while preserving culture and supporting their client experience and long-term vision.
He began his career in financial services in 2014 at Savant as an investment research analyst and progressed through senior research roles that supported firmwide strategy. In 2020, Eamon began contributing to Savant’s mergers and acquisitions initiatives and transitioned to the M&A team in 2021. Since then, he has supported dozens of founder-led advisory firms as they explored and ultimately chose to partner with Savant, emphasizing trust, alignment, and long-term fit.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Away from work, Eamon spends most of his time with his wife, Emily, their two young sons, and their dog, often shuttling between practices and games depending on the season. He also enjoys staying active, following Chicago sports, and listening to business and investing podcasts.
