Irwin is the head of Savant Tax & Consulting strategy and works in our Rockford, IL headquarters. He has a membership interest in Savant.

Irwin has been involved in the accounting management industry since 1980, providing individuals and business owners with tax and consulting services, including merger and acquisitions, financing, profit improvement, and growth initiatives. Prior to joining Savant, he was a managing partner of two local CPA firms, concentrating on strategy, expanding services, and mentoring associates. He is especially proud of starting a second CPA firm and growing it from one employee to over 50.

Irwin is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization Gold. He earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University.

Irwin and his wife have two sons and four grandchildren. He grew up in the Chicagoland area and currently lives in Long Grove, IL. He enjoys all outside activities and music.
