Trying to make important financial decisions is a stressful process for many people. My role is to help my clients articulate their goals, implement their plan, and help them navigate life's unexpected challenges.
Sam has been involved in the financial services industry since 1990. He was a partner at Bridgeworth from 2015 until it joined with Savant in 2023. Prior to joining Bridgeworth, Sam helped start a wealth management division at a local accounting firm where assets grew to over $1 billion under advisement. He has worked with hundreds of families, assisting them with defining their financial goals and creating a plan of action.
Sam earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Samford University in Birmingham. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama.
Sam and his wife Joy have three adult children who all live in the Birmingham area. Sam enjoys serving on boards of local charitable organizations and ushering at Church of the Highlands.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
