JD is a financial advisor in Savant’s Lincolnshire, IL office.

JD holistically plans for an owner’s life outside of their business while striving to build value in their organization prior to their exit. He also advises clients on personal financial matters as their dedicated financial advisor.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), JD is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

JD has been involved in the financial services industry since 2015. Prior to joining Savant, he worked in community bank securities sales and trading for an investment banking firm. He also has experience in underwriting and sales for a private mortgage insurance company and commercial insurance sales.

JD earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

JD grew up in Racine, WI, and still has family there, and he now resides in Arlington Heights, IL. He enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, traveling, playing and watching sports, and all things food – cooking and eating.
