Overview
Jeffrey “Jeff” Neavor serves as a financial advisor in our Peoria, Illinois, office, where he strives to help individuals and families make confident, informed financial decisions. He draws on more than 20 years in education to break down complex planning topics and help guide clients through pivotal life moments with clarity and purpose.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Jeff works across all areas of financial planning. He supports clients with wealth transfer and philanthropy strategies, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance evaluations, debt management, and education funding. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®)and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designations.
Jeff began working in financial services in 2019 after serving as a high school band director, where he earned the Sudler Shield Award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation. This international recognition is given to a marching band that demonstrates world-class excellence for five consecutive years under the same director. His ensembles captured 14 straight Illinois state championships and earned multiple placements at national competitions. He is a member of Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity and the Central Illinois Pickleball Club.
Active in his community, Jeff sits on the board of directors for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra and serves as vice president of the Bloomington-Normal chapter of the American Outlaws, which is a nonprofit that supports U.S. soccer teams. He also performs on saxophone and piano with The Holis7ics and the River Valley Big Band.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and a master of music education (MME) degree from Illinois State University.
Jeff and his wife, Erin, have five children. He enjoys traveling, performing and conducting music, and playing soccer and pickleball.
