Overview
Jeris Gaston is a financial advisor in Savant’s Birmingham, Alabama, office. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, she helps families and individuals navigate comprehensive financial planning with a focus on wealth transfer, philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement income strategies, and education funding.
Jeris joined the financial services industry in 2007 and advanced as an advisor and partner at Bridgeworth before the firm joined Savant in 2023. Her leadership in the community and the profession has earned statewide recognition. She earned the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham Outstanding Professional Advisor Award in 20221, a Women to Watch for the Birmingham Business Journal in 20242, and leadership awards from both the Rotaract Club of Birmingham in 2024 and Rotary District 6860 in 2021 and 20243. In 2026, AdvisorHub named her to its 2026 “250 Advisors to Watch” RIA ranking, earning her the No. 60 spot in the ranking4.
She stays deeply engaged in service and leadership. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham and will serve as president of the club in 2027–2028. She also participated in the Alabama Leadership Institute and previously graduated from Leadership UAB, Leadership Shelby County, and Leadership Birmingham.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in history with a distinction in leadership studies from Birmingham‑Southern College and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) from Trinity College at the University of Dublin, Ireland.
Jeris and her husband, Jordan, have twin boys, Graham and Hayes. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines at soccer games or tending her vegetable garden, she enjoys exploring Birmingham’s food scene and traveling the world with her family.

This annual rating was published in August 2021 and June 2024 by the Rotary Club of Birmingham. The award was presented by the Rotary District Governor to recognize excellence in leadership, dedication, and service to Rotary District 6860. Honorees are selected based on demonstrated leadership and sustained contributions to Rotary at the club, district, and international levels. No fee was paid for consideration or inclusion.

AdvisorHub ranked financial advisors on a 100-pt scale in three categories.
