Jessica Knudsen serves as a senior tax strategy advisor in our Rockford, Illinois, office. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, she focuses on tax planning, Roth conversion strategies, and detailed cash flow planning to help clients navigate their financial futures.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Specialist in Retirement PlanningSM (CSRP®), Jessica provides comprehensive financial planning services with an emphasis on long-term tax planning and Roth conversion planning. She is also an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed by the Department of the Treasury to represent clients before the IRS.
Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a finance emphasis from Rockford University, graduating cum laude. She later obtained a Master of Science (MS) in personal financial planning and earned the Master Planner Advanced StudiesSM (MPAS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Away from work, Jessica fosters kittens and walks adoptable dogs through Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, where she also serves on its fundraising committee. She and her husband, Brad, were honored as the 2025 Good Steward Award winners for their volunteer efforts there. Beyond their love of animals, they enjoy traveling to live music concerts nationwide. Jessica also volunteers as a tax aide for AARP and spends her free time gardening, cooking, and caring for her pets.
