Jonathan E. Millican

Jonathan is a private client group leader in Savant’s Birmingham, AL office. He has a membership interest in Savant.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Jonathan is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

Jonathan has been involved in the financial services industry since 2002. He was a financial advisor and director of planning for Bridgeworth from 2017 until it joined with Savant in 2023. Prior to joining Bridgeworth, Jonathan was director of financial planning and a shareholder for a registered investment adviser firm.

Jonathan is a member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama. He was named to the 2020 Top 40 Under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal. In 2015, he received the University of Alabama Jack Davis Professional Achievement award. Jonathan was a member of the Leadership Hoover Class of 2020 and is a member of the Professional Partners in Philanthropy of the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.

Jonathan graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in human environmental sciences from the University of Alabama, where he received the Most Outstanding Student in Family Financial Planning award.

Jonathan and his wife Joanna are avid home renovation do-it-yourselfers and, along with their two daughters, are active members of Shades Mountain Baptist Church where he serves on the First Impressions Team.
