Jonathan specializes in crafting portfolios that are not only personalized to a client’s specific needs and goals but are also designed to be tax efficient. He has a strong background in concentrated stock ownership strategies and analyzing stock-based compensation.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Jonathan is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

Jonathan has been involved in the financial services industry since 1994. He was a partner at PrairieView Partners until it joined with Savant in 2025. Before that, he was the Chief Investment Officer at a wealth management firm, where he was responsible for client portfolios of $850 million.

Jonathan earned a bachelor of science degree in economics with concentrations in finance and accounting from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He lives in Northfield with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities like biking and hiking with friends and traveling with his family.
