Julie Pipitone is the director of talent and works from Savant’s Rockford, Illinois, office, where she leads the firm’s strategy for developing people, strengthening leadership, and supporting organizational growth. Julie focuses on building clarity, consistency, and alignment across all talent practices to reinforce Savant’s culture and long-term strategic goals.
Involved in the human resources industry since 1997, Julie has held leadership roles at several global manufacturing companies. Early in her career, she saw how leadership, culture, and people decisions shape both employee experiences and business outcomes. That perspective continues to drive her work today as she balances people-centered support with performance-focused leadership.
At Savant, Julie leads efforts to institutionalize performance standards, so employees have clear expectations, consistent feedback, and a transparent understanding of development and rewards. She is also enhancing leadership capability and accountability, particularly in coaching and people management. Her work strengthens the employee experience during periods of growth and acquisition with more structured onboarding, role clarity, and integration planning. She also oversees improvements to talent acquisition to ensure Savant attracts the right individuals to support organic and inorganic expansion.
One milestone meaningful to Julie is the development and rollout of Savant’s Talent Philosophy. The initiative created a unified framework for performance, behavior expectations, development, and accountability. For her, it reflects the kind of work she values most: connecting strategy to everyday practices in a way that builds trust, reinforces culture, and supports long-term success for employees and the organization.
Julie holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) certification and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
She and her husband, Andy, have two children, Ethan and Macy. They enjoy time with family and friends, often swimming, grilling, playing bags or euchre, traveling, and laughing together. Julie also turns to running and yoga to decompress and reset.
