Kristy is a financial advisor in Savant’s St. Paul, MN office. She has a membership interest in Savant.
With significant experience in tax, stock options, and alternative compensation planning, Kristy specializes in working with senior executives of large multinational companies.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Kristy is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Kristy has been involved in the financial services industry since 1999. She was a partner at PrairieView Partners until it joined Savant in 2025. Before that, she was a wealth manager and tax advisor to high-net-worth clients at a private investment advisory firm. She also worked in public accounting, focusing primarily on tax compliance for corporate and individual clients.
Kristy earned a bachelor of science degree in both business administration and international relations from the University of Redlands (CA) and a master of science (MS) degree in personal financial planning from the College for Financial Planning®.
Kristy lives in Prior Lake, MN with her husband and two children. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, preferably in the mountains of the West. You can often find them skiing, hiking, or exploring new destinations.
