Rene has been involved in the financial services industry since 1982. Prior to joining Savant, she was a partner at Green, Plagge & Shaw, where she specialized in tax planning and preparation, financial reporting, and business management consulting. Rene excels at transitioning new clients and preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
Rene graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA). Rene is involved with the Illinois CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Society. Rene has two adult sons. She enjoys yoga and outdoor activities.
