Mary is a manager of Savant Tax & Consulting in our Dover, DE office. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mary has been involved in the tax industry since 1993. She was an accountant with R.F. Book & Associates, P.A. CPAs, from 2009 until it joined with Savant Tax & Consulting in 2023. Prior to joining R.F. Book, she was an estate paralegal at a local law firm, where she prepared estate tax returns.
Mary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA). She serves on the board of trustees for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and volunteers as a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, headquartered in Yorktown Heights, NY.
Mary earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Wesley College in Dover, DE, graduating with summa cum laude honors.
Mary and her husband have five children, eight grandchildren, two dogs, and two cats. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and working with her GEB puppy.
