Nate is a director of Savant Tax & Consulting in our St. Paul, MN office. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Nate has been involved in the financial services industry since 2009. He was the tax director for PrairieView Partners from 2023 until the firm joined with Savant in 2025. Before that, he practiced public accounting for over 14 years, primarily with national firms servicing the middle market. He has provided tax compliance and consultation services to a variety of businesses and industries, as well as high-net-worth and private client services. His experience includes providing tax services for subchapters C and S corporations and partnerships, and he has an extensive background in individual, estate, gift, and trust taxation. He has represented taxpayers in federal and state tax controversies.

A native of North Dakota, Nate earned a bachelor of accountancy degree and a master of business administration (MBA) degree, both from the University of North Dakota, and a master of science in taxation (MST) degree with distinction from DePaul University. He is a licensed CPA in North Dakota and Minnesota and maintains affiliations with the American Institute of CPAs, Minnesota Society of CPAs, and North Dakota CPA Society.

Nate’s interest and hobbies include spending time with his wife and four children, time outdoors on RV trips, and watching sports. To stay connected with his local community, he has been a member of the Minnetonka (MN) Rotary Club since 2012. His volunteer work includes involvement with the Wayzata school district, coaching youth football and soccer, and serving as a board director/audit and finance committee member of The Glenn Catholic Senior Communities, with senior care facilities serving Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Buffalo, MN.
