Rachel Johnson works as director of Tax & Consulting operations in St. Charles, Illinois, and focuses on organizational development with experience in leadership and change management. She holds a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner (PCCP) certification and has led initiatives to help improve operational efficiency, strengthen organizational structure, and support executive leadership coaching, professional development, and succession planning. Her experience includes overseeing HR, finance, IT, and legal functions as well as managing union relationships with the Teamsters.
Before joining Savant, Rachel worked in private equity and alternative investments as a business manager and chief of staff to a chief operating officer. She also has operational experience from consulting, coaching, public transit, local government, nonprofit, and performing arts organizations.
Rachel earned a bachelor’s degree in pre-law from Georgia State University and two master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas, one in leadership and organizational development and the other in management science. She is a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Mensa International. She also serves on the board of directors for the Aris Theatre, an Atlanta-based theater company dedicated to preserving Celtic literary traditions.
Rachel’s career highlights include presenting research on leadership structures at a Cambridge University business symposium and founding the Green Banner Gang, a global career support community that grew to more than 300 members in three months. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, baking for others, watching live comedy, and spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their two rescue dogs, Cora and Oskar.
