Richard “Rich” Allison serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Manassas, Virginia, office, where he helps families and individuals navigate complex financial decisions.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Rich is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding. In addition, he is an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed by the Department of the Treasury to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service, and a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC).
Rich’s background as a U.S. Air Force veteran and active reservist adds a unique perspective to his client-focused approach. While on active duty, he piloted UH-1N, MV-22, and CV-22 aircraft and served at bases across the country. Today, in the Air Force Reserves, he represents the Department of Defense at the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center.
Rich earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from West Texas A&M. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his five children, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
