Scott D. Michael

Scott is a financial advisor in Savant’s York, PA and Hanover, PA offices. He has a membership interest in Savant.

While Scott works with clients from all backgrounds, he especially enjoys assisting clients as they transition from their professional careers to their retirement years. He understands the major steps involved, both financially and personally, and his caring nature creates a comfortable atmosphere for clients to navigate.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Scott is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

Scott has been involved in the financial services industry since 1995. He was a partner, senior wealth advisor, and Chief Compliance Officer for Domani Wealth since its inception until it joined with Savant in 2023.

Scott is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Planning Association of Central PA. He is a board member and Finance Committee member of the Farm & Natural Lands Trust of York County and a member of the Red Lion Area Educational Foundation.

Scott earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Millersville (PA) University. He is an outdoorsman, enjoying biking, hunting, shooting, and landscaping work. Scott and his wife Angel have two daughters and two granddaughters. He can often be found outside listening to music with his German short-haired pointer, Bristol, by his side.
