Scott Kornstedt serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Middleton, Wisconsin, office, where he works with the University Wealth Management team to help individuals and families build clear, personalized paths toward their financial goals. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he offers comprehensive financial planning with an emphasis on wealth transfer, philanthropy, income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance evaluations, debt management, and education funding. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations.
Scott began his career in financial services in 2004 and strives to be a resource for those seeking thoughtful guidance through complex financial decisions.
He serves on the board of The Friends of the Waisman Center, a group that supports programs benefiting children with developmental disabilities and their families. His connection to the organization is personal. Shortly after his daughter Raegan’s birth and PKU diagnosis, he and his wife Carrie turned to the Waisman Center for its specialized guidance and support for the rare metabolic disorder that prevents her from properly metabolizing phenylalanine, a common amino acid that exists in most proteins.
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
Scott and Carrie have two children, Payton and Raegan. They enjoy camping during Wisconsin summers and spend the rest of the year cheering on their kids’ many activities, from athletics to music lessons. A lifelong percussion fan, Scott strives to pass his rhythm along to his children. Growing up on a Wisconsin farm made him a dedicated supporter of the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks.
