Stephen “Steve” Fuller serves as a regional director of advisory in Savant’s Middleton, Wisconsin, office, where he guides individuals and families through the complexities of financial planning and long-term decision-making.
Steve joined the financial services profession in 2020 after retiring as a U.S. Navy captain. His military career spanned 27 years and took him around the world. Before stepping into his current role, he served as operations manager for Savant’s University Wealth Management team, then as new partner optimization manager, helping new partners transition into the firm.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in government and international studies from the University of Notre Dame and a master of arts (MA) degree in national security studies from the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.
During his Navy career, Steve circumnavigated the globe, disrupted illicit drug and oil smuggling operations, supported combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and explored six continents. He led countless service members as the commanding officer of two ships and a major Pacific-based squadron.
Today, Steve enjoys a quieter life in Wisconsin’s Driftless region with his wife, Tanya. They spend their time reading, writing, visiting independent bookstores, and walking their husky Seamus the Shaybear and their German Shepherd, Rhea. They also love planning future trips, especially to Ireland.
