Teryn is a financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford, IL headquarters. She takes pride in partnering with her clients to develop a financial plan that aligns with their individual goals.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), Teryn is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding. In addition, Teryn is an Equity Compensation Associate (ECA), conferred by the Certified Equity Professional Institute at Santa Clara University.
Teryn has been involved in the financial services industry since 2009. Before transitioning to her current role, she was a senior financial planner for Savant, where she worked with the Advisory Team to prepare client financial plans and develop tax strategies for clients.
Teryn is a member of Wise Women, an initiative that inspires, informs, and empowers women to pursue their best financial futures. She is a member of the Young Women’s Alliance, an organization that connects the next generation of women leaders with a focus on community outreach. Teryn volunteers with Girls Empowerment Network, teaching young girls and women the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to succeed.
Teryn earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Indiana University where she graduated with highest distinction.
In her spare time, Teryn enjoys reading all genres of literature, walking her Pyrenees dog (or more accurately, her dog walking her), and crafting. With six sisters, you can find her spending most of her spare time with them. She loves to travel and is on a mission to do more of it! Her dream destination is Australia.
