Thomas DiCristofaro

Tom is Savant’s director of client services. He focuses on leadership development and service excellence. Tom believes that across each role within Savant, one constant is that service is not just about process; it’s about people. He is passionate about developing teams and strives to build trust with clients, with the goal of delivering experiences that help set us apart.

With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Tom began his career in 1992 and spent more than two decades at TIAA in a range of leadership and advisory roles, including financial consultant, national wealth management director, and senior director overseeing client service teams. Prior to joining Savant, he served as senior director of client services at a national financial planning and investment advisory firm.

Throughout his career, Tom has played a key role in building and scaling advisory services, training programs, and client service teams, contributing to increased client retention, accelerated growth, and stronger revenue performance.

Tom earned a bachelor of science degree from Fordham University in New York and a master of business administration (MBA) degree from Manhattan College in New York.

Tom and his wife Joann, a dedicated special education teacher, are originally from the New York City area and have called Charlotte, NC home for over 20 years. Together, they raised two daughters. Brianna, a graduate of Elon University, is an occupational therapist based in the Boston area. Isabella recently earned her engineering degree from North Carolina State University and has started her career as a sales engineer with a manufacturing firm in Florida. The family enjoys spending quality time together, watching sports, and taking long walks with their beloved dogs, Milo and Lola.
