Thomas “Tom” DiCristofaro is Savant’s director of client services and leads the firm’s efforts to elevate service excellence, strengthen leadership development, and scale a consistent, relationship-driven experience. He focuses on building a high-performing, future-ready service organization that strives to help meet rising client and advisor expectations. By concentrating on simplifying processes, reducing friction, and integrating technology, including the thoughtful use of artificial intelligence, he aims to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency while preserving the personal connection that defines Savant’s fiduciary approach.
Tom has worked for more than 30 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1992 in a commissioned environment, where he saw firsthand how compensation structures could potentially create conflicts. That experience fueled his commitment to fiduciary advice and reinforced his belief that long-term client relationships grow from trust, clarity, and accountability. Over time, he discovered a passion for coaching and developing others, which ultimately led him to leadership roles focused on scaling service models that put clients first.
Earlier in his career, Tom spent more than two decades at TIAA in leadership and advisory positions, including financial consultant, national wealth management director, and senior director overseeing client service teams. Before joining Savant, he served as senior director of client services at a national financial planning and investment advisory firm.
Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Fordham University in New York and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Manhattan College in New York.
Tom and his wife, Joann, a special education teacher, grew up in the New York City area and have lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, for more than 20 years. They raised two daughters: Brianna, an occupational therapist in the Boston area, and Isabella, an engineering graduate from North Carolina State University who now works as a sales engineer in Florida. Their family enjoys time together, watching sports, and taking long walks with their dogs, Milo and Lola.
