Overview
Todd Helle serves as director of Savant Tax & Consulting in our Iowa City, Iowa, office, where he focuses on helping clients navigate complex tax strategies and financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Todd has worked in the financial services industry since 1994. He worked for Terry Lockridge & Dunn from 1999 until it joined Savant in 2022. Early in his career, he built a strong foundation as an accountant with John C. Wagner Law Offices, gaining a valuable perspective on tax and legal considerations that continue to inform his work today.
As an Enrolled Agent (EA), Todd holds a credential issued by the Department of the Treasury, allowing him to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. He works closely with individuals and families to help align tax planning with broader financial goals, including strategies that support long-term cash flow, wealth preservation, and informed decision-making.
Todd stays actively involved in his community and professional network. He serves on the board of directors for CBI Bank and Trust and Goodwill of the Heartland. He also participates in the Knights of Columbus, contributing to local initiatives and service efforts.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Todd values time with his family and enjoys creating meaningful moments with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Grant, Lauren, and Morgan.
