Allison Alexander serves as a financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford and Chicago Loop offices, where she focuses on helping clients navigate major life transitions such as retirement, divorce, loss of a spouse, or the sale of a business. She works closely with individuals and families to create a “new normal” through comprehensive financial planning.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), Allison is knowledgeable in areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Allison has been involved in the financial services industry since 1985. Before joining Savant, she built her career in public accounting and private industry. She began at a “Big Eight” firm and later led financial reporting for a Chicago-based insurance company.
A founding member of Wise Women, Allison works to help inspire and empower women managing their wealth with confidence. She is active in professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society, and the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts. Locally, she participates in the Rockford Garden Club and the Union League Club of Chicago.
Allison graduated with high distinction (top 10%) from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Outside of the office, Allison enjoys reading, skiing, biking, hiking, gardening, cooking, and music. She loves spending time with her three children, Grace, Max, and Jack, as well as visiting Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, with her family and friends.
