Financial advisor Ashley (Gorman) Olivas, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Ashley joined Savant after completing internships at accounting firms in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Fort Collins, Colorado, as well as an internship with Savant that led to her current advisory role. She works out of Savant’s Santa Fe and Scottsdale, Arizona, offices.
Ashley is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Planning Association, the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, and the Santa Fe Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In 2023, the Santa Fe Hispanic Chamber named her one of its 40 Under Forty Top Business Leaders in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico. She later joined the Chamber board to help recognize and support other young professionals.
In 2024, Ashley was honored as an Excellence Awardee (finalist) for InvestmentNews’ Women to Watch Rising Star Advisor of the Year. In 2025, she was named a Rising Star of the Year by the WealthManagement.com Industry Awards, known as the “Wealthies.” The national recognition celebrates next-generation leaders who demonstrate vision, creativity, integrity, and measurable impact in their firms and across the wealth management profession.
Ashley is a proud veteran of the New Mexico Air National Guard, where she served for more than 11 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentrations in accounting and financial planning and a master of accountancy (MAcc) degree with specialization in taxation, both from Colorado State University.
Outside of work, Ashley and her husband, Mario, enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring New Mexico’s local restaurants and scenic destinations.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP® in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
2023 Santa Fe Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 40 Under Forty Top Business Leaders: This annual ranking published in 2023 was designed to recognize 40 young professionals in the Santa Fe community who are up-and-coming leaders in their field of work who strive to make a positive impact in their community. Savant did not pay to participate in this rating.
2024 InvestmentNews Women to Watch Rising Star Advisor of the Year: This annual ranking published in August 2024 recognizes the outstanding female advisor who has displayed excellence in their first three years as an advisor. Savant did not pay to participate in this ranking.
2025 WealthManagment.com Rising Star of the Year: This annual rating was published in September 2025. An independent panel of judges in the industry selected winners from more than 1,200 nominations for the Wealth Management Industry Awards. The panel reviewed and verified the final results, which were announced at the live awards gala. Savant did not pay a fee to be considered for this award.
