Laura is a financial advisor in Savant’s Birmingham, AL office.
Understanding that life is full of unexpected events and things out of our control, Laura is a strong advocate for the peace of mind that a comprehensive financial plan can help provide to individuals and families.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Laura is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Laura has been involved in the financial services industry since 2006. She was a financial advisor for Bridgeworth from 2015 until it joined with Savant in 2023.
Laura is a member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama. Active in the community, she is a member of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce and enjoys supporting the parents and babies in her hometown of Jasper through the Pregnancy Test and Resource Center.
Laura earned a bachelor of science degree in consumer sciences with emphasis on family financial planning and counseling and a minor in history from the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude.
Laura and her husband Alan have three children and are both active members of Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church. She loves spending time outdoors with her family, visiting new places, and alternating her reading between fiction and nonfiction.
