Nicholas “Nick” De Jong serves as a lead advisor and financial advisor in Savant’s Naperville, Illinois, office, where he focuses on comprehensive financial planning for individuals and families. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he helps clients navigate wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Involved in the financial services industry since 2013, Nick brings a strong accounting foundation to his work with clients. Before joining Savant, he worked as a senior associate at a CPA firm, partnering closely with clients on tax and investment strategies. After joining Savant, he completed the firm’s Advisor Training Program, gaining broad exposure to Savant’s planning philosophy and core service areas.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a Master of Accounting Science (MAS) degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Reflecting his commitment to community involvement, he participates in the DuPage Foundation Next Generation Initiative.
Nick and his wife, Lauren, are raising their three children, Luke, Mark, and Rebekah, in the western suburbs of Chicago. Nick serves as an elder at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, Illinois. He enjoys volunteering, exploring the outdoors, and roasting coffee.
