Terry Hartigan serves as a financial advisor in our Atlanta office, where he helps individuals and families navigate complex financial planning strategies. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Terry focuses on wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance analysis, debt management, and education funding.
Involved in the financial services industry since 1993, Terry brings deep experience to his role. He was a principal and served as managing director of private wealth at Capital Directions until it joined Savant in 2023. His career also includes leadership roles as a principal with Ashwood Advisors, LLC, and in the tax department at Gifford, Hillegass & Ingwersen, LLP. In 1997, Terry founded Hartigan Financial Advisory, Inc. to meet the growing demand for fee-only financial planning and investment consulting.
Terry earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia. He is an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church and sits on the board of directors of the Clarence E. Harris Foundation. He and his wife, Jill, have three daughters.
