Jakob Loescher and Grant Moore of Savant Capital Management, a nationally-recognized fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, are among some of the Rock River Valley’s next generation of community and business leaders. Savant is proud to announce that Jakob Loescher has been named president of the Severson Dells board of directors and Grant Moore has been featured by TD Ameritrade in a cover story for its Advisor Solutions Magazine.

Loescher, who started as an intern and is now a financial advisor and employee member with Savant, is taking the reins to help Severson Dells continue to link more people to nature through education and research in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area. He says the goal is to help our community’s children make better informed decisions about the future of our environment.

“Being elected board president for Severson Dells is an honor,” said Loescher. “Severson has been a great fit for me personally as I’ve had the opportunity to align my passion for the natural world and education of future generations through my volunteer experiences. I am excited to lead our diverse board of directors and the Nature Center staff in sharing one of Winnebago County’s best kept secrets.”

Also, Loescher was recently recognized on the national stage. He was named to Forbes’ list of America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors list, earning the #13 spot.

At the age of 18, Moore joined Savant as an intern. Today, he is a financial advisor and employee member with the firm. His positive impact on the financial industry led TD Ameritrade to include him in the spring issue of its Advisor Solutions Magazine. The article includes Moore and four other millennial advisors from across the county who have become successful business owners – something that usually takes decades. Moore discussed what advisors need to do for the next generation to continue advancing growth in the industry.

“I am honored to have been invited by TD Ameritrade to join a group of like-minded advisors that want to help further develop the financial services industry,” said Moore. “Even though millennial advisors don’t have the same level of experience as industry veterans, they are hungry to learn, grow, and find a career path that is fulfilling and rewarding. It’s important that we provide them with the support they need to succeed.”

Like Loescher, Moore also has received recent national attention. Designated as a “good citizen,” InvestmentNews selected Moore as a member of its “40 Under 40” class, which aims to recognize leading young talent in the financial advice industry.
