Savant’s Kevin Phillips Elected to Board of Trustees for DuPage Foundation
Named chair of the Foundation’s investment committee
Kevin Phillips of Savant Capital Management, a nationally-recognized fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, was recently elected to the Board of Trustees for the DuPage Foundation, a philanthropic leader in the western suburbs of Chicago. He has also been named chair of the Foundation’s investment committee.
“I am honored to join the Board of Trustees for DuPage Foundation, an incredible organization that fosters philanthropy and creates meaningful community partnerships in our region,” said Phillips, a financial advisor in Savant’s Naperville office, “I look forward to continuing to support the area’s not-for-profits and helping families achieve their charitable goals.”
Phillips is a financial advisor in Savant’s Naperville, IL, office and a member of the Advisory Team. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the financial planning and investment process for Savant’s clients. He regularly meets with clients, other advisors, portfolio managers, accountants, attorneys, and financial planners to formulate and coordinate effective planning, investment, and tax strategies.
Phillips and four additional trustees were elected to the Board and officially began their tenure at the Foundation’s Annual Meeting on September 19, 2019, at Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn. The DuPage Foundation manages more than $95 million in assets and has awarded more than $45 million in grants to not-for-profit agencies serving the residents of DuPage County and beyond.
