ROCKFORD, Ill. The partnership closed June 30, 2026. Savant did not disclose financial terms of the deal. FP Transitions served as the M&A consultant and valuation advisor to Richard Brothers.
Brothers Randall Richard, CEPA®, president and CCO, and Neal Richard, principal and COO, founded the firm in 1996 with a clear purpose: to provide clients with coordinated financial guidance that reflects the full picture of their financial lives. The firm’s “Whole Picture Planning” approach integrates investment management, retirement planning, tax considerations, risk management, and long-term life goals into a single, unified strategy. Both Randall and Neal join Savant as member-owners, along with Director of Client Relations Zachary Lauzon, CFP®, CEPA®, and Director of Internal Operations Laura Linscott, CFP®. The rest of the team joins as Savant employees.
“Richard Brothers Financial Advisors has spent 30 years committed to building something exceptional in Maine,” said Brent Brodeski, CFP®, CPA, CFA®, MBA, founder and CEO of Savant Wealth Management. “Their Whole Picture Planning philosophy is a natural complement to how Savant serves clients, and their specialty in guiding business owners through transition can help add real depth to our capabilities in the region. We are thrilled to welcome Randy, Neal, and their entire team to Savant.”
Randall Richard cited shared values and expanded resources as central to the decision. “We evaluated this decision the same way we help our clients evaluate theirs, by looking at the full picture,” he said. “Savant stood out because of its alignment with our values, its planning-driven philosophy, and the breadth of resources it can help bring to our clients. This partnership allows us to continue doing what we do best while giving our clients access to a much deeper bench of specialists and services.”
Neal Richard added that client continuity remained the firm’s top priority throughout the process. “Our clients will continue working with the same team, from the same office, with the same focus on their long-term goals,” he said. “What changes is the depth of what we can offer them. That is something we are genuinely excited about.”
The partnership marks Savant’s first office in Maine. With the addition of Richard Brothers Financial Advisors, Savant now has 70 offices across 28 states.
