NEW YORK, (Oct. 14, 2026) – Savant Wealth Management, a fee-only registered investment adviser (RIA), announced the launch of Wife2CFO, an online educational program designed to help women navigate the financial complexities of divorce. Created by Michelle Smith, CDFA®, managing director and financial advisor in Savant’s New York City office, the program combines self-paced education with live check-ins with Michelle Smith and other Savant financial advisors to help participants better understand financial concepts, engage in financial conversations, and make informed decisions during and after divorce.
Designed for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth women, Wife2CFO addresses many of the financial issues that often emerge during divorce, including wealth management, investing, tax considerations, risk management, financial planning, and long-term financial independence. The course is now available through Savant Academy for $2,000.
Smith originally created Wife2CFO in 2020 after noticing a recurring theme among women she worked with throughout her career. Over the past 30 years, she has advised women navigating divorce, drawing on her experience as a financial advisor, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, and former divorce mediator. Through those experiences, she discovered that many highly accomplished women felt unprepared to participate in financial decisions because they had delegated financial responsibilities to a spouse or believed they lacked the aptitude to understand financial matters.
“I’ve worked with intelligent, successful women who told me they didn’t have the ‘math gene’ or felt uncomfortable participating in financial discussions because a spouse had traditionally handled those decisions,” said Smith. “At the same time, these women were leading businesses, managing households, raising families, and solving complex problems every day. I created Wife2CFO to help women feel confident about their finances. The goal is to provide education, tools, and support that help women understand the concepts, questions, and conversations that often become critically important during divorce.”
“Divorce is one of the most significant life transitions many people will experience, and it often comes with financial decisions that can feel overwhelming,” said Brent Brodeski, CFP®, CPA, CFA®, MBA, founder and CEO of Savant Wealth Management. “Savant shares Michelle Smith’s passion to help women learn how to become the CFO of their lives. Throughout her career, Michelle has shown she can meet women where they are, explain financial topics in plain language, and create a space where women feel free to ask questions. Wife2CFO reflects that same approach.”
