The best time to start was yesterday; the next best time is now. Whether it’s a financial decision or any other aspect of life, it's never too late to take action.
Deann Stevens is a financial advisor in Savant’s Atlanta, Georgia, office and believes financial planning doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. Her philosophy is simple: help clients enjoy their lives today while still planning thoughtfully for the future.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Deann works with clients through some of life’s biggest transitions, whether that involves starting a new job, getting married, going through a divorce, receiving an inheritance, or preparing for retirement. She strives to bring a steady, practical perspective to moments that can often feel overwhelming.
While she works with a wide range of clients, Deann has a special passion for supporting single women. Whether they’ve never been married, are newly single, navigating a divorce, or have lost a spouse, she understands that their financial decisions are often deeply personal and deserve focused attention and care.
Deann earned a degree in accounting from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas, and stays active in several professional and nonprofit communities. She’s a member and volunteer with the Junior League of Atlanta, a member and chair of the Events committee of the Georgia chapter of the Financial Planning Association, and a member of the Association of African American Financial Advisors. She is also a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Advisory Council, a member of the Buckhead Toastmasters Club, and a member and vice president of sponsorships for PROWIN, a women’s networking organization.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and unwinding with a good British or K-drama series. She’s also a regular at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Opera.
