Melissa Orlando Earns Nomination for a 2026 Women Who Count Award
The Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) has nominated Melissa Orlando, head of Savant’s affiliate, Savant Accounting & Business Advisory, for a 2026 Women Who Count® Award.
The awards recognize women who lead, mentor, innovate, and create lasting impact across the accounting and finance profession. AFWA judges evaluate nominations against the criteria for each category, including leadership, mentorship, innovation, and community impact.
AFWA will present the awards at the Women Who Count Conference, held October 21 to 23, 2026, at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa in South Carolina.
2026 Women Who Count® Award : The Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) nominated Melissa Orlando for a 2026 Women Who Count® Award. Winners will be announced in October 2026. AFWA accepted nominations through August 31, 2026, from colleagues, peers, and self-nominations, and its judges select recipients based on the criteria for each award category, including leadership, mentorship, innovation, and community impact. Nominations are open to all women in The Foundation of Accounting and Finance, and AFWA membership is not required.
