Financial Planner
Ellan Howley serves as a financial planner in our St. Paul, Minnesota, office. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Ellan is knowledgeable in numerous areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Before joining Savant, Ellan managed planning and operations at PrairieView Partners, which merged with Savant in 2025. She also worked as an advisor for PrairieView and as a financial consulting assistant at another firm, where she developed retirement plans and educated clients on key financial concepts.
Ellan earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where she played principal French horn in the St. Olaf orchestra and band. Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking, canoeing, and traveling north with her husband and two young children. Always eager to learn, Ellan loves exploring new skills and hobbies.
