Scott Williams serves as a financial advisor in our Rockford, Illinois, office, where he helps individuals and families prepare for retirement with confidence. He guides clients through unexpected financial and life events and keeps both short- and long-term goals in focus when making investment recommendations. Scott’s background includes estate administration, debt and liability planning, and strategies for families with special needs.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Scott is knowledgeable in many areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, insurance analysis, debt management, and education funding. He strives to simplify complex financial concepts, making them accessible and actionable for clients.
Scott entered the financial services industry in 2012, starting in banking before transitioning to long-term financial planning to build deeper client relationships. He graduated magna cum laude from Beloit College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and political science.
Away from work, Scott enjoys time with his wife, Bianca, and their three young children. He loves cooking and exploring international cuisines, volunteering through his church, and tackling DIY projects. Scott also enjoys music, songwriting for his kids, and outdoor activities.
