Savant Wealth Management (formerly Savant Capital Management), a nationally recognized, fee-only advisory firm headquartered in Rockford, announced today that Chief Investment Officer and Financial Advisor Phil Huber was selected by Investopedia as one of its Top 100 Most Influential Financial Advisors for 2020.
Huber was chosen from among 100,000 independent advisors across the country, based on his ability to reach a large and diverse financial audience through significant contributions to critical conversations about financial literacy, investing strategies, life-stage planning, and wealth management. This is the third year in a row that he was selected by Investopedia for this honor.
“Financial education is a critical component for our society,” said Huber, who works in Savant’s Lincolnshire office. “I am honored to be recognized for my part in helping others learn investing strategies that will affect their families for generations to come.”
Huber’s contributions to promote and amplify financial education and improve the practice of financial planning has been reflected in his national media appearances, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, InvestmentNews, CityWire, RIA Magazine and Bloomberg TV. He also produces his own investing blog, bps and pieces.
“Phil’s commitment to coaching clients is second-to-none,” said Robert Morrison, Savant’s chief strategy and innovation officer. “He is dedicated to the financial well-being of our clients and community, and this honor from Investopedia reflects that.”
