In 2008, she co-founded Bridgeworth Wealth Management, successfully scaling the firm to rank among Forbes’ Top RIA1 firms and one of the largest independent, privately owned RIAs in Alabama. Zell’s notable journey continued as she guided Bridgeworth Wealth Management through a strategic acquisition by Savant Wealth Management in late 2023. As a respected voice in the RIA industry, Zell has served on the Forbes Financial Council, an exclusive collective of business owners and leaders. She was invited to join Schwab’s 20-member National Advisory Council, further showcasing her industry experience and leadership.
Acknowledged by Forbes among America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors2, Zell is passionate about fostering diversity in the financial advisory field. Her dedication to recruiting, mentoring, and developing women advisors has had a meaningful impact, contributing to her former firm, Bridgeworth, having 32% women advisors.
Spenser Segal: A Visionary in Financial Services
Spenser Segal, with over three decades of expertise in the financial services realm, joins the board with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the industry. Segal played a pivotal role as part of the founding team of Bigcharts, an online financial information service later acquired by CBS MarketWatch. He is the founder and CEO of ActiFi, Inc., a premier provider of engagement solutions for advisors in the wealth management industry.
Recognized as an authority in his field, Segal has shared his insights at over 50 conferences, covering business value creation through advisor engagement, technology optimization, workflow enhancement, technology use and integration, and strategies for organic growth.
