InvestmentNews’ 5 Star Financial Planners were selected through a nationwide, nomination based process conducted in November 2025. Results were based on planners who, over the past 12 months, have demonstrated not only strong performance but also integrity, client-centric innovation, and a clear commitment to helping individuals and families reach their financial goals. 2026 Barron’s Top 1,500 Financial Advisors (State-by-State): This ranking was awarded in March 2026. The evaluation was conducted by Barron’s for the period October 2024 – September 2025. The ranking is based on a formula that includes client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, and quantitative criteria including assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion. Neither Savant nor its financial advisors paid a fee to Barron’s to obtain or use the ranking. 2025 Financial Planning Top 20 RIA Leaders by AUM: This rating was tabulated by COMPLY and published on Nov. 18, 2025. Ratings were based on AUM data from firm ADV filings as of May 1, 2025. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this rating. For more details on methodology, please see the link. 2025 Newsweek America’s Top Financial Advisory Firms: This rating was published in November 2024. Newsweek partnered with Plant-A Insights group to analyze over 15,000 SEC-registered RIA firms, and shortlisted firms with more than $10 million in AUM, a minimum of three wealth advisors, at least five individual clients, and at least two years of SEC registration. The data was sourced from SEC filings in September 2024. The shortlisted firms were analyzed and scored based on the following factors: asset performance, client performance, advisor expertise and client ratio, breadth of service offerings, and conflicts of interests. Savant did not pay a fee for participation in the ranking, however, Savant has paid a fee to Newsweek to use the ranking in marketing.
Barron’s 2025 Top 100 RIA Firms: This ranking was awarded on September 15, 2025. The evaluation was based on data submitted for the time period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Rankings were determined through a multi-faceted process that includes verification of data with advisors’ firms and regulatory databases. Barron’s then applies a rankings formula to the data to generate a ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: 1) assets, 2) revenue, and 3) quality of practice. In each of those categories, Barron’s conducts multiple sub calculations. 2026 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors: This ranking was awarded in April 2026. Data was compiled by SHOOK Research LLC based on the time period from 6/30/2024 – 6/30/2025. The ranking is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone, virtual, and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data such as revenue trends and assets under management. The algorithm additionally weighs factors such as service models, compliance records, and industry experience, and focuses on those that encompass best practices in their approach to working with clients. All advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK received a fee in exchange for rankings. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking. 2026 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State: This ranking was awarded in February 2026. Data was compiled by SHOOK Research LLC based on the time period from 10/1/2024 – 9/30/2025. The ranking is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria including revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience, and best practices learned through telephone, virtual, and in-person due diligence interviews. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK received a fee in exchange for rankings. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2025 Inc. 5000: This annual rating was published in August 2025. Companies on the 2025 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2024. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2021 is $100,000; the minimum for 2024 is $2 million. Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Savant paid an entry fee to be considered for this ranking and for use of the logo and ranking in marketing materials.
2025 Accounting Today Billion-Dollar Wealth Magnet: This annual ranking was published in June 2025 and includes the top CPA financial planners with a wealth management/financial planning practice based on assets under management as of March 31, 2025. At minimum, one of the advisors must be a licensed CPA in the practice. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
2025 InvestmentNews Top Independent High-Net-Worth Advisors: This rating was published in March 2025 and based on data compiled by Data Discovery. The selection process is entirely merit-based, relying solely on objective, independent data such as SEC Filings submitted between January 2024 and December 2024. Firms must manage at least $100 million in assets and be independently owned by Discovery Data’s methodology. Firms cannot be dually registered as BD-RIA firms and must operate without a broker-dealer affiliation. Each firm must serve at least 100 households, including individual and high-net-worth clients. Savant did not pay a fee to be considered for this ranking.
2025 InvestmentNews 5-Star Wealth Management Teams: This inaugural rating was published in May 2025 and was based on data for the 12-month period ending approximately December 2024. The rating identifies and ranks leading registered investment advisory firms based on meaningful contributions to clients and the financial industry, deep understanding of client needs, notable impact, and standout performance based on assets under management (AUM) and team results. Firms must manage a minimum of $10 billion in AUM for consideration. Savant did not pay a fee to be considered for this rating. The InvestmentNews 5-Star Wealth Management Teams 2025 was announced in May. The special report highlights the nation’s top teams providing exceptional advice in the wealth management industry.
2025 USA Today’s Best Financial Advisory Firms: This annual ranking was published in April 2025 and was based on recommendations by clients, industry experts, and financial advisors, and the RIA’s growth in short-term (January 2024 to January 2025) and long-term (2020 to 2025) assets under management. The ranking was tabulated by market research firm Statista to rank the top 500 RIA firms. Savant did not pay a fee to be included in this ranking.
