Overview
Ada Cartright serves as a director of Tax & Consulting based in the firm’s San Antonio, Texas, office. In her role, Ada partners closely with account managers and clients to deliver comprehensive tax planning, tax compliance, and tax consulting services. She specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals, their related trusts, and closely held businesses structured as corporations and partnerships, with a focus on strategic planning and long-term outcomes.
Ada joined Savant in 2026 when Exencial Wealth Advisors joined the firm. She originally became part of Exencial in 2016 through the merger of a local practice. She has built a strong reputation as a leader within the regional tax group, playing a key role in developing and strengthening the firm’s tax team.
She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Personal Finance Specialist (PFS) credential, reflecting her commitment to advanced tax planning and tax services aligned with client goals. Ada is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the San Antonio chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University in College Station.
Ada lives in San Antonio with her husband, Mike, and their family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, church family and close friends, traveling, RV camping, practicing yoga, reading, and photography. She is passionate about holistic health and believes our overall well-being is shaped by all aspects of life.
