Alaina Davalos, a wealth transfer advisor based in our Atlanta office, supports clients with sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies designed to protect and transfer multigenerational wealth. She brings a legal background to her role, advising families with complex planning needs and aligning wealth transfer strategies with broader financial goals. Her goal when working with clients is to make them as educated in this topic as they would like to be, which is why she actively contributes to Savant’s weekly webinars and blog posts on these topics.
Before joining Savant, Alaina practiced law in the Atlanta area, where she focused on family planning and tax planning for ultra-high-net-worth clients. She has also worked as an attorney editor for Thompson Reuters, working on WestLaw’s Practical Law Guide for Georgia estate planning and probate attorneys. She remains an active member of the State Bar of Georgia. Alaina earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies and history from the University of Richmond in Virginia and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, strengthening her ability to navigate the legal considerations that shape effective estate planning.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Alaina lives in Georgia with her husband and three children. A proud member of the Bills Mafia, she enjoys traveling and applying her love of spreadsheets to both work and everyday life.
