Overview

Alberto “AJ” Tamez serves as the regional director of advisory in Savant’s Lincolnshire, Illinois, office. AJ joined the financial services industry in 2005 and spent more than 20 years as a branch manager for a multinational financial services firm. He worked closely with affluent clients, strengthened long‑term relationships, and earned several top leadership awards during his tenure.

AJ earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Texas–Austin.

He lives in Northbrook, Illinois, with his wife and their two teenage daughters, Hannah and Jocelyn. AJ enjoys barbequing, especially smoking brisket, staying active at the gym or on his Peloton, going to concerts and listening to live music, exploring new technology, and cheering on Texas Longhorn sports.
