Overview
Brent is a financial advisor in Savant’s Lincolnshire, IL office. He has a membership interest in Savant.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Brent is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Brent has the training and experience to apply principles of fiduciary duty; understand, create, and implement comprehensive investment plans; provide asset allocation strategies; and evaluate investment options based on objective standards.
As a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®), Brent has the training and experience to provide support and guidance related to overall qualified plan management in key areas such as understanding the duties and responsibilities of a fiduciary, plan design, sponsor goals and objectives, investment management, participant outcomes, and service provider search and selection.
Prior to joining Savant, Brent was an advisor and shareholder of a Chicago area financial services firm for more than 20 years, where he served on the Executive Committee and Investment Committee and was the practice leader for Retirement Plan Services, providing qualified retirement plan consulting and fiduciary support to business clients.
Brent earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Northern Illinois University. He lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife Denise and their two sons. He enjoys golf, playing ice hockey, biking, snow skiing, and travel.
