Brian Knabe serves as a financial advisor in our offices in Rockford, Illinois, and Park Falls, Wisconsin. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Medical PlannerTM (CMP®), he focuses on comprehensive financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax strategies, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance analysis, debt management, and education funding.
Brian entered the financial services industry in 2007. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois. He teaches investment and retirement planning courses at Rock Valley College in Rockford and Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Catholic Medical Association, and he serves on the board of The Haven Network.
Brian graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University with an honors degree in biomedical engineering. He earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his family practice residency at the University of Illinois, where he served as chief resident. He also holds a certificate in financial planning from Marquette University.
Away from work, Brian enjoys reading and outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. He and his wife, Sandra, have 10 children and eight grandchildren.
